Said improvements to <br />unimproved public accessways shall connect to the closest public street or <br />developed accessway. <br />(3) Adjustments to Standards. The standard at EC 9.6835(1) may be adjusted if <br />consistent with the criteria of EC 9.8030(20). <br />Response: The private street is intended to function as a driveway serving the nine rowhouse lots. <br />Although is its being reviewed as a private street, it will serve the same purpose as the <br />driveway and parking area previously approved to serve the 14 condominium units in PDF <br />02-2. Therefore, the proposed private street provides public connectivity consistent with <br />connectivity provided in the approved East Ridge Village PUD. Additional connectivity is <br />not required under the PUD; therefore, a public accessway is not necessary. These <br />standards do not apply. <br />9.6855 Street Names. Wherever practical, streets that are in alignment with existing named <br />streets shall bear the names of such existing streets. Names for streets that are not in <br />alignment with existing streets are subject to approval by the planning director and <br />shall not unnecessarily duplicate or resemble the name of any existing or platted street <br />in Lane County. <br />Response: Street names can be selected that do not unnecessarily duplicate or resemble the name <br />of any existing or platted street in Lane County. This standard can be met. <br />9.6870 Street Width.
