DWELLING MULTIPLE: A building designed for or occupied by <br />hree 3 or more families living independently of each other. <br />DWELLING, SINGLE-FAP:~ZLY: A detached building designed for and <br />occupied exclusively by one (1) related family. Not more than <br />three (3) people in addition to the related family may be regu- <br />larly lodged or furnished meals therein. The building may have <br />only one (1) kitchen. <br />DWELLING, MO-MIILY (DUPLEX) : A building designed and used <br />exclusively for occupancy by two (2) families living independently <br />of each other. <br />FRATER11ITY. SORORITY, STUDENT HOI:'E: A residential building in <br />which living accommodations are furnished to college students. <br />GARAGE, PRIVATE: A detached accessory building or portion of a <br />.main building for the parking of automobiles of the occupants <br />of the premises. <br />GARAGE, PUBLIC: A building other than a private garage used <br />for the care, repair, parking, or storage of automobiles. <br />GUEST HOUSE, SERVANT'S QUARTERS: An accessory building without <br />kitchen or cooking facilities and occupied solely by non-paying <br />guests or by servants employed on the premises. <br />HALF STORY means that part of any building wholly.or partly <br />within the roof frame and not occupying more than two-thirds (2/3) <br />of the floor area immediately below it. <br />HEIGHT OF BUILDING: See Building Height. <br />HOME OCCUPATION: An occupation carried on by an occupant of <br />the dwelling which is incidental or secondary to residential. <br />use; provided it does not change the character of the dwelling <br />and no assistants are employed. <br />HOTEL LODGING HOUSE or ROOMING HOUSE: A building or portion <br />thereof containing four ) or more sleeping rooms customarily <br />occupied;as more or less temporary abiding places for individuals. <br />INTERIOR WT: A lot, other than a corner lot, having frontage <br />on only one side. <br />KETML: Any lot or premise on which three (3) or more dogs over <br />the age of four (4) months are kept. <br />KEY LOT: A lot, the side of which abuts the rear line of one <br />or more adjacent lots. <br />t T <br />
