UNIVERSITY OF OREGON <br />NORTH CAMPUS <br />CONDITIONAL USE & WILLAMETTE GREENWAY PERMIT APPLICATION <br /> <br />A Project Team representative presented at the fall meeting on November 8, <br />River Districts <br />2017 to give a project overview and gather feedback. <br />Campus Planning and Facilities Management presented to the <br />Chamber of Commerce Local <br /> on April 6, 2018. <br />Government Affairs Council <br />Campus Planning met with interested parties in June 2018 to provide information about the <br />proposal and will continue to do so.Meetings to-date were with representatives of the <br />, <br />Willamette RiverkeeperMcKenzie River Trust, Whilamut Natural Area Citizen Planning <br />and. <br />Committee, Nearby Nature <br />Combined Outreach <br />Combined Focus Group <br />A combined focus group meeting was held on October 18, 2007 and included internal and external <br />focus group representatives. This meeting focused on the draft Master Site Plan and the two <br />illustrative conceptual site plan options for the Conceptual Study area, and gathered feedback <br />from attendees. It also included a presentation on the Riparian Assessment and Management <br />Report, prepared by environmental consultants with the Project Team. <br />Community Open House (2) <br />Two community open house events were held on November 8, 2017 and January 11, 2017, <br />respectively. Articles in the ÅAround the OÆ newsletter preceded each open house. Invitations to <br />attend were emailed in advance to all faculty and staff and individuals on the interested parties list, <br />which was a comprehensive list developed through the internal and external outreach processes. <br />The Project Team presented displays consisting of the draft Master Site Plan, Conceptual Study <br />materials, context maps, and supporting information and reports. In addition, open house <br />materials were posted to the project web page. The first open house event had 89 attendees that <br />signed in. The second open house event had 57 attendees that signed in. To date, over 80 <br />comments were received at the two public open houses and by mail, e-mail, and via the project <br />web page comment function. Examples of open house materials are included in Exhibit J. <br />Neighborhood Meeting (2) <br />Two neighborhood meetings were also held on November 8, 2017 and January 11, 2017, <br />respectively. The neighborhood meetings utilized the presentation materials from the open house <br />events. The neighborhood meetings followed the prescribed neighborhood/applicant meeting <br />procedures as specified in EC 9.7007. Documentation regarding the neighborhood/applicant <br />meetings is provided as Exhibit E. <br />Fairmount Neighborhood Association Meeting <br />Representatives from the project team provided a project update to the Fairmount Neighborhood <br />Association on December 5, 2017, at the associationÈs regular monthly meeting. <br />Documentation <br />Additional outreach methods included several email updates to internal and external stakeholders <br />between meetings a project website maintained and regularly updated by CPFM staff with <br />responses to frequently asked questions.
