The proposal complies with parking requirements of provision EC 9.5500(12)(c) along River <br />Road and Lombard Street. See sheet A-1 in Exhibit G for parking configuration. Out of an <br />abundance of caution, the applicant will be applying for an Adjustment to the restriction of <br />parking between a building and a street to cover the section of parking/drive isle between <br />Lombard Street and Building 1. <br />The Applicant requests an adjustments to EC 9.5500(12)(b)1. and EC 9.5500(12)(c) in <br />accordance with EC 9.8030(8)(f). See full response to adjustment criteria in Part IV <br />Adjustment Review below. <br /> <br /> <br />On-site pedestrian circulation paths have been designed to provide a safe path of travel from <br />every unit to all other units within the development, from every unit to all community facilities <br />and from every building located within 40-feet of a public or private street to the street right- <br />of-way line. Pathways have also been provided from all public ways to building entrances. All <br />pathways will be constructed of concrete or comparable hard surface material and when <br />abutting a street or driveway will be raised to standard curb height. All paths that are <br />intersected by a drive aisle will be marked with striping or where indicated on the site plan <br />with a cross-hatch a contracting paving material. Lighting will be provided along pedestrian <br />facilities in accordance with EC 9.6725. Lighting in the parking areas is shown on Sheet A1 <br />on 16’ poles.
