5. Section 105.6.2 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6.2 Amusement Buildings. An operational permit issued by the Eugene Springfield <br />Fire Marshal's Office is required to operate special amusement buildings, such as haunted houses <br />and similar temporary installations. See Appendix K. <br />6. Section 105.6.13 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6.13 Exhibits and Trade Shows. An operational permit issued by the Eugene <br />Springfield Fire Marshal's Office is required to operate exhibit and trade shows when there will <br />be more than 10 tables or booths, cooking is involved or when the display area exceeds 500 <br />square feet. For purposes of this operational permit requirement, an exhibit or trade show is an <br />event in which the display of products or services is organized to bring together the provider and <br />users of the products and services. <br />7. Section 105.6.14 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6.14 Explosives. An operational permit issued by the Eugene Springfield Fire <br />Marshal's Office is required for the manufacture, storage, handling, sale or use of any quantity of <br />explosives, explosive materials, fireworks, pyrotechnic special effects, or the operation of <br />blasting within the scope of Chapter 56. <br />Exception: Storage in Group R-3 occupancies of smokeless propellant, black powder <br />and small . arms primers for personal use, not for resale and in accordance with Section <br />5606. <br />8. Section 105.6.27 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6.27 LP-gas. <br />1. An operational permit issued by the Eugene Springfield Fire Marshal's <br />Office is required for storage and use of LP-gas in individual container(s) <br />exceeding 125 water gallons or more in the aggregate. <br />Exception: An operational permit is not required for individual <br />containers serving occupancies in Group R-3 as defined in Chapter <br />2 of the Fire Code. <br />9. Section 105.6.34 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6.34 Places of temporary assembly. An operational permit issued by the Eugene <br />Springfield Fire Marshal's Office is required to operate a temporary place of assembly when the <br />occupant load will be 50 or more persons and the building is not approved for assembly use.
