hereby adopted, subject to the additions, deletions, and modifications set forth in this rule, which <br />together constitute the;Eugene Fire Code (EFC). This rule is in addition to, and is not exclusive <br />of, Administrative Rule R-8.005. References in this rule to "this code" are references to the OFC <br />adopted herein. <br />R-8.010FC-B AMENDMENTS: <br />1. Section 101.2.1 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />101.2.1 Appendices specifically adopted. Provisions in the appendices shall not apply <br />unless specifically adopted. The provisions of the following appendices are adopted as part of <br />this code: B, C, D, K, L, M and N. <br />2. Section 104.2 of the•OFC is amended to provide: <br />104.2 Applications and permits. The fire code official is authorized to receive <br />applications, review construction documents and issue permits for construction regulated by this <br />code, issue permits for operations regulated by this code, inspect the premises for which such <br />permits have been issued and enforce compliance with the provisions of this code. Authority to <br />review construction documents, and to charge a fee for such review, includes, but is not limited <br />to, residential plan checks consisting of one and two-family dwelling review for water and <br />access, commercial plan checks consisting of fire code plan review associated with Building and <br />Mechanical Permits, and site development review not related to a specific structure (i.e., grading, <br />fill, excavation, PEPI, etc.). <br />3.- Section 105.6 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6 Required operational permits. An operational permit as authorized by law or <br />regulation shall be obtained from the State Fire Marshal for the operations set forth in Sections <br />105.6A through 105.6E. An operational permit shall be obtained from the Eugene Springfield <br />Fire Marshal's Office for the operations set forth in Sections 105.6A, 105.6B, 105.6C, 105.61), <br />105.6E, 105.6.3, 105.6.4,- 105.6.8, 105.6.9, 105.6.10, 105.6.12, 105.6.16, 105.6.18, 105.6.19, <br />105.6.20, 105.6.21, 105.6.24, 105.6.26, 105.6.33, 105.6.36, 105.6.38, 105.6.40, 105.6.41, and <br />105.6.43. <br />4. Section 105.6.1 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.6.1 Aerosol Products. An operational permit issued by the Eugene Springfield Fire <br />Marshal's Office is required to manufacture, store, handle or use an aggregate quantity of Level <br />2 or Level 3 aerosol products in excess of 500 pounds (227 kg) net weight throughout an <br />occupancy. <br />Administrative Order - Page 2 of 14 <br />62 <br />
