going to increase considerably in the future as people drive <br />to and from Dillard and Fox Hollow Roads. <br />Not mentioned in the engineer's study was the northbound <br />lane of Hilyard between 25th and 28th truncates down to <br />ONE LANE. <br />Not mentioned either the additional traffic that will be <br />created when the new Y is constructed on corner of 24th <br />and Hilyard. <br />A considerable amount of attention has been given to the <br />terrible corner of 32nd and Hilyard, enough said, will leave <br />that out. <br />The engineers report glossed over the considerable problem <br />of traffic on Alder 32ndStreet between 32nd and 30th Avenue. <br />Virtually all drivers going to Lane College, the 1-5 freeway, <br />Springfield, and taking Harris Street to the U of 0 will take a <br />left turn out of the parking lot on 32nd, drive about sixty <br />feet and will make a left turn onto Alder and turn right on <br />30th Avenue. No doubt about it. <br />During drive time a school bus picks drives east on 32nd <br />Here is an issue never addressed, the speed of traffic on <br />Alder.
