BERG-JOHANSEN Erik <br />From: Louise <Iaughter1948@yahoo.com> <br />Sent: Tuesday, January 10, 2017 2:25 PM <br />To: BERG-JOHANSEN Erik <br />Subject: Amazon Corners Traffic Impact <br />To the City: <br />So traffic issues only or TIA. 1) bottleneck (30/Hilyard) its real already.... worse when flashing <br />crosswalk light goes on.... lots of drivers confused on how cross walks function ....backs up a lot <br />starting at Amazon Prkw. 2) overflow traffic on side streets and parking.Lots of children live on those <br />side streets. 3) Already has traffic issues from 31th/35th...lots of people speed in spite of speed <br />bumps ...children also live on those side streets .4) lots of people speed going down 30th (west) <br />through the intersection. 5) lots of people turn to soon when people are in crosswalks 6) more cars, <br />trucks, pedestrians, cyclists, homeless.7) 31th/Hilyard is already a traffic problem. 8) lots of people <br />speed when they see a green going north on Hilyard 9) lots of people cut through the bank parking lot <br />coming down (west) 30th 10) will these apts. come with children who will be using the intersection <br />and side streets. 11) parking i understand will be in a basement in a swamp. 12) lots of seniors drive <br />to and from the health clinic across the street. 13) lots of people do not use their blinkers..for any <br />reason. 14) lots of people do not know how to turn left on a 2 lane one way ...backing up traffic.These <br />problems are happening all day.Do your homework.
