O f[ O U S T N G <br />construction to ensure preservation of critical root zones, as recommended by <br />the Project Landscape Architect. <br />(c) Restoration or Replacement. <br />(f) For areas not included on the city's acknowledged Goal 5 Inventory, <br />the proposal mitigates, to the greatest degree attainable or feasible, <br />the loss of significant natural features described in criteria (a) and (b) <br />above, through the restoration or replacement of natural features <br />such as: <br />(a) Planting of replacement trees with common areas; or <br />(b) Re-vegetation of slopes, ridgelines, and stream corridors; or <br />(c) Restoration offish and wildlife habitat, native plant habitat, <br />wetland areas, and riparian vegetation. <br />To the extent applicable, restoration or replacement shall be in <br />compliance with the planting and replacement standards of EC 6.335 and <br />rules adopted thereunder. <br />(g) For areas included on the city's acknowledged Goal s Inventory, any <br />loss of significant natural features described in criteria (a) and (b) <br />above shall be consistent with the acknowledged level of protection <br />for the features. <br />Findings: The PUD proposes to meet or exceed landscape requirements as <br />required by all applicable codes. Mitigation of the loss four trees will be <br />provided by the planning of a variety of new trees, protected by vegetative <br />swales and building orientation, throughout the property. Please refer to the <br />attached proposed landscape plans for detailed information. <br />(d) Street Trees. If the proposal includes removal of any street tree(s), removal of <br />those street tree(s) has been approved, or approved with conditions <br />according to the process at EC 6.305 of this code. <br />Findings: No street trees will be removed. Conversely, this PUD proposes to <br />introduce new street trees along Oakleigh Lane in an attempt to improve the <br />conditions of the street beyond base code requirements. As such, this criterion <br />does not apply. Please refer to the attached proposed Landscape Plans for <br />reference and details. <br />EC9.8440- SITE REVIEW APPROVAL CRrrERIA-GENERAL. <br />(e) Parking.
