Perpendicular or diagonal spaces shall be at least 6 feet long and 2 feet wide with an overhead <br />clearance of at least 7 feet, and with a 5-foot access aisle. This minimum required width for a <br />bicycle parking space may be reduced to 18" if designed using a hoop rack according to Figure <br />9.6105(2) Bicycle Parking Standards. <br />2. Bicycles may be tipped vertically for storage, but not hung above the floor. Such vertical parking <br />spaces shall be at least 2 feet wide, 4 feet deep, and no higher than 6 feet, and have a 5-foot access <br />aisle.
