BOHNER Rodney T
From: CAROL FORD
Sent: Thursday, June 10, 2021 1:56 PM
To: BOHNER Rodney T
Subject: Previous KEZI-TV (Lot 9) location
[EXTERNAL O]
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mr. Bohner,
Although it would be terrific to see this long undeveloped property developed and have a Starbucks located so close, I
believe the additional traffic congestion is uncalled for. The intersection at the Belt Line interchange and Coburg Road is
already congested, and adding a traffic signal so very close to this interchange will cause nothing but more traffic
problems. Unless prohibited by cement on the turn lane, drivers will attempt to enter the complex from the turn lanes
instead of going to the new turn signal. And this will cause more accidents and congestion.
All in all, I believe the addition of a turn signal at Elysium Avenue and the congestion created by the Starbucks and other
businesses in this complex is a poor land use for these vacant lots.
Sincerely,
Carol Ford
3700 Babcock Ln #117
Eugene OR
Sent from my iPad
