This proposed Modification is subject to the Type II application review process, per <br />EC 9.7205. <br /> <br />I. Land Use Request <br /> <br />Eugene School District 4J (the “Applicant”) requests approval of a Modification to the existing approved <br />Willamette Greenway Permit (City File No. WG 19-02). The proposed Modification is for the construction <br />of a fenced approximately 2,100 square feet athletic court (e.g., basketball) located adjacent to the <br />existing Early College & Career Options (ECCO) building on the existing Eugene School District 4J <br />Education Center (“Ed Center”) site. The Education Center site (the “site”) is located at 200 North Monroe <br />Street at the northern most extent of North Monroe and North Madison Streets (Tax Lot 400 on Lane <br />County Assessor’s Map 17-03-30-23) in the Whiteaker neighborhood. The proposed new athletic court <br />and re-graded stormwater facility (the “Project Site”) are located just east of the existing ECCO building. <br />The site is entirely within the Willamette Greenway boundary. Per the applicability provisions of EC <br />9.8805 and the “intensification” definition per EC 9.0500, the proposed athletic court is an “intensification
