For areas included on the City’s acknowledged Goal 5 inventory, the <br />applicant shall show that it has given due consideration to the preservation of <br />attractive and distinctive historical and natural features. <br />N/A. Our site is not included on the City’s acknowledged Goal 5 inventory. <br />b. Tree Preservation. The proposed project shall be designed and sited to preserve <br />significant trees to the greatest degree attainable or feasible, with trees having the <br />following characteristics given the highest priority for preservation: <br />There are only two types of trees on the property. There is a row of arborvitae trees <br />along the West edge of the property that provides a buffer to the parking lot. Those <br />trees will be maintained. There is also a singular Japanese Maple on the property <br />that will also be maintained. All existing trees have a diameter of less than 8”. <br />c. Restoration or Replacement. <br />1. For areas not included on the city’s acknowledged Goal 5 inventory, the <br />proposal mitigates, to the greatest degree attainable or feasible, the loss of the <br />significant natural features described in criteria (a) and (b) above, through the <br />restoration or replacement of natural features such as: <br />a) Planting of replacement trees within common areas; or <br />N/A. None of the existing trees on the site will be removed as part of <br />this proposal. <br />
