homes perched on vantage points? In any case, the developer does NOT seem to be sensitive
to preserving trees (EC 9.8325) and is actively seeking to sidestep that requirement.
Sustainabilty does not appear to a priority here. The city must actively engage to preserve
100% of the oak trees in this area given their scarcity and unique contributions to the
ecosystem.

The same complaint goes regarding the developers approach to wetlands. Rather than
building sustainably, they are asking to destroy wetland habitat of which there is very little in te
greater Churchill area (we see flocks of ducks seeking refuge in backyard ponds and whatnot.
Further, the out-of-state developers are not specifying how they will minimize stream impact
which tells us again they have little regard fo the environmental aspects of this property.

We seek your cooperation as stewards of the land in our city and county to work with the
developer in question to revise their plan to a far more sustainable one preserving all wetlands
and oak trees and drastically reducing planned density and/or to enact a Middle Housing plan
which encourages this type of development in more appropriate areas which sufficient access
to transportation.

Yours,

Benjamin Sloan
2442 W 29th Ave
