Larry Smith, Videra Drive HOA
5

This section is largely intended to provide background for the following sections of this discussion which
state more specific concerns. However, there are requests we make of the Planning Department at this
point which we believe will result in an acceptable plan:
A) Stormwater control is the major concern we share over the entire project and yet it is a concern
not given serious attention in the current proposal, deferring analysis to the construction permit
phases. Even though it has become customary to defer specific stormwater plans to a later phase
in the application process, we ask that you require the applicant to present an analysis and design
strategy in this tentative application which addresses the entire parcel in a comprehensive
fashion. Granting permission to subdivide before such plans are clear would make it impossible to
implement an effective stormwater control solution.

B) Understanding that there may be flexibility in many decisions which balance the competing goals
of the applicant and the public, we ask that the Planning Director remain true to the intent for
Goal 5 property and stormwater control and enforce the code strictly in this case, granting no
waivers or exceptions
