You may also want to share this information with others in your <br />neighborhood. <br />What Is a Public Hearing? <br />A public hearing is an opportunity for community members to provide comments on the proposed land use changes <br />described above. These comments will go to a Hearings Official who will consider them in their decision. The <br />Hearings Official's decision whether or not to approve the proposed land use changes are based on applicable <br />approval criteria outlined in the City's land use code. <br />What are the Approval Criteria? <br />As part of the review process, land use changes are reviewed for compliance with specific approval criteria, which <br />are the standards or rules that a decision maker uses to base a decision on. In this case, the applications are being <br />processed according to the "Housing/Clear and Objective" track approval criteria. The approval criteria for the <br />Tentative PUD are addressed at Section 9.8325 of the Eugene Code (EC), and the Tentative Subdivision approval <br />criteria are addressed at EC 9.8520.
