You may also want to share this information with others in your
neighborhood.
What Is a Public Hearing?
A public hearing is an opportunity for community members to provide comments on the proposed land use changes
described above. These comments will go to a Hearings Official who will consider them in their decision. The
Hearings Official's decision whether or not to approve the proposed land use changes are based on applicable
approval criteria outlined in the City's land use code.
What are the Approval Criteria?
As part of the review process, land use changes are reviewed for compliance with specific approval criteria, which
are the standards or rules that a decision maker uses to base a decision on. In this case, the applications are being
processed according to the "Housing/Clear and Objective" track approval criteria. The approval criteria for the
Tentative PUD are addressed at Section 9.8325 of the Eugene Code (EC), and the Tentative Subdivision approval
criteria are addressed at EC 9.8520. The Eugene Code is available online at:.http://www.eugene-or.gov/citycode.
For questions or to submit testimony, contact:
Nick Gioello, Associate Planner
541-682-5453 or NGioello@eugene-or.gov
