Two corridor concepts were developed for stakeholder consideration. <br />Concept 1 — Narrower Area of Denser <br />Development <br />Concept 1 would focus future <br />development in a narrow, denser area <br />along River Road and on key side <br />streets. <br />The Neighborhood Centers in Concept 1 <br />would be assigned a zoning code that <br />would permit higher densities and a mix <br />of uses to facilitate active mixed-use <br />centers. <br />Zoning would also be modified to permit <br />medium density housing options (2 to 3 - <br />story) to develop along River Road and <br />key side streets. <br />Figure 17.
