The application was deemed complete on <br />March 19, 2015. Applicant requested a time extension of 109 days to provide additional materials <br />in response to staff comments. A public hearing was originally scheduled for August 19, 2015, but <br />the hearing was postponed until October 14, 2015 for the applicant to submit additional evidence. <br />A public hearing was held on October 14, 2015. <br />Summary of the Public Hearing <br />At the public hearing, associate planner Nicholas Gioello (Gioello) discussed the staff report and <br />explained that the applicant had recently submitted additional testimony that the City had not had <br />sufficient time to fully review. Gioello recommended denial of the application. The applicant's <br />representative explained the nature of the application and argued in favor of its approval.
