PROCEDURAL SUMMARY <br />As noted in prior materials for this project, the proposed land use code amendments are <br />subject to Type V application (legislative) procedures (EC 9.7500 through EC 9.7560), as well as <br />the approval criteria in EC 9.8065. <br />Notice of both prior public hearings on the proposed Willamette Greenway Code amendments <br />was provided consistent with the notice requirements for Type V (legislative) land use <br />applications. All written testimony received through the date of the second public hearing and <br />open record period ending on January 20, 2023 has been provided to the Planning Commission <br />for consideration. All testimony submitted to the Planning Commission, including any <br />testimony submitted after the end of the Planning Commission's open record period, will also <br />be forwarded to the City Council for consideration as part of their subsequent public hearing <br />process. <br />As a courtesy, written testimony received by the City, along with a variety of additional <br />materials including the online Greenway Setback map, prior meeting materials and recordings, <br />and the updated draft code can also be found on the City's project website at: <br />https://www.eugene-or.gov/764/Land-Use-Code-Amendments. <br />NEXT STEPS <br />The next deliberations meeting on the Willamette River Greenway Code Amendments is <br />tentatively scheduled for March 14, 2023, at which the Commission may reach a <br />recommendation on the proposed land use code amendments.
