Attachment B
WG Code Amendments (CA 22-1)
Code Figures Description
December 22, 2022
constructed in accordance with public improvement standards. If enacted, the required connection must extend
from the property line through or along the development site to existing public ways that provide a connection to
or along the Willamette River.
To make it clear which properties are located within 500 feet of a public access point, the attached figure showing
these defined public access points and identifies which tax lots are impacted using GIS walkability data (see Figure
B). Public access points are defined and shown as mapped points where public right-of-way intersects with
existing multi-use path connections. The analysis maps walking routes (walkability) with dedicated pedestrian
facilities, specifically multi-use paths and sidewalks, that exist between a public access point and existing tax lots.
The tax lots identified are within 500 feet of a public access point and would therefore be exempt from the
standard at EC 9.8812(4)(a)2.
The figure and analysis identify two categories of tax lots:
• Tax Lots Within 500' of Public Access Points
• Tax Lots Not Within 500' of Public Access Points
The second category of tax lots would therefore be subject to the standard at EC 9.8812(4)(a)2. These features,
along with the Willamette River Greenway Setback line, will be adopted as an Exhibit to the Ordinance
implementing the code amendments and can be viewed on the City's nway V~
ATTACHMENTS
Figure A.
