University of Oregon
Indoor Football Practice Facility
Willamette Greenway Permit Application
September 23, 2021
Blvd. Prior construction at the complex resulted in the UO installing 8-foot wide
setback sidewalks along the south side of MLKJr. Blvd., east of Leo Harris Parkway, and
8-foot wide curbside sidewalks along the north side of Leo Harris Parkway. Existing
sidewalks along MLKJr. Blvd. and along the south side of Leo Harris Parkway west of
the canoe canal are 12-feet wide.
The area's network of on-street bike lanes and off-street paths also provides convenient
bicycle access to the complex, where 427 bicycle parking spaces are provided (86
covered spaces and 341 uncovered spaces). The DeFazio Bridge and other
improvements in the Ferry Street Bridge corridor provide capacity and access to the
complex from the downtown and Coburg Road areas for spectators using alternative
modes of transportation. Transit use for complex events is currently provided by a
series of transit stops located along MLKJr. Blvd.
CAMERON MCCARTHY 9
