AM <br />WPIanning <br />EXHIBIT A <br />C <br />Notice of Eugene City Council Public Hearing <br />Monday, June 21, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Virtual Meeting* (Via Zoom) <br />*Due to Governor Kate Brown's Stay Home, Save Lives Executive Order to combat the spread of Covid-19, <br />online or other remote options for participation are being identified and information will be available at <br />https://www.eugene-or.gov/3360/-Webcasts-and-Meeting-Materials. Please refer to the reverse side of <br />this page for instructions on how to submit testimony. <br />This is to notify you of the upcoming City Council public hearing on a request by Neighborly Ventures Inc <br />to vacate unimproved, platted public right-of-way and public utility easements (City File: VRI 20-1). <br />On June 21, 2021, the Eugene City Council will hold a public hearing to consider whether it is in the public <br />interest to vacate the unimproved right-of-ways of Slocum Drive and Songbird Loop, as well as the unimproved <br />public utility easements along each right-of-way. These undeveloped right-of-ways were dedicated on a plat <br />through a land division process, but never developed. All lots retain frontage along Willow Creek Avenue. <br />Applicable Criteria <br />The Eugene City Council will address the relevant approval criteria from Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code <br />at sections 9.8725. The criteria are available on the City's website at: www.eugene- <br />or.gov/citycode.Testimony and evidence of those testifying should be directed toward the applicable <br />criteria or other criteria or land use regulations that the person testifying believes to apply to the <br />decision. Following the public hearing, the Eugene City Council is scheduled to deliberate and possibly <br />take action on July 12, 2021. <br />Additional Information <br />The application, related documents, and approval criteria are available for inspection at the Planning <br />Division at no charge; copies can be obtained at a reasonable cost. <br />IMPORTANT NOTE: To take preventative measures for community members and staff safety against the <br />spread of COVID-19, please contact the listed staff representative below about alternatives for reviewing <br />materials. Copies may be obtained at a cost.
