From: Kelly Sandow, PE
RE: 1400 Cross Street TPR- Response to Hearing Comments
Date: 3.15.2021
Page 2
Thermo Fisher Scientific Buildings on Willow Creek Road in Eugene
The 2 story building is approximately 60,00 sf and the larger of the two 3-4 story buildings is
just under 40,000 (approx.). It is reasonable that a scientific research facility could be 50,000 sf
and be 3 stories.
Manufacturi
Manufacturing is a broad category that takes on all matter of manufacturing. It is assumed
within this land use that the manufacturing could be of smaller items not requiring large
machinery and that the manufacturing could be a variety of tenants with smaller leasable
spaces within one or multiple buildings. An example of this type of building is located at
Bertelsen Rd at Roosevelt Blvd in Eugene. The buildings located at this site are 2 story with the
bottom floor roll doors and the second story office. This complex includes small
manufacturing such as a busines that manufactures aquatic fitness equipment.
