Written statements received by staff by S:OOpm on Friday, February 24, <br />2020 will be included in the Planning Commission's packet. <br />- Send a written statement after February 24, 2020, but before the public hearing. Written <br />statements submitted after S:00pm on February 24, 2020, but prior to the public hearing will be <br />provided to the Planning Commission at the public hearing. See contact information above. <br />y Attend the public hearing on March 3, 2020 and provide written testimony. Written testimony <br />may be submitted to the Planning Commission at the public hearing that will begin at 5:30 p.m. on <br />March 3, 2020. <br />Attend the public hearing on March 3, 2020 and state your support or concerns. You may present <br />spoken testimony at the hearing. The Planning Commission may limit the time for each speaker to a <br />few minutes. You are encouraged to submit written testimony if you have detailed or lengthy <br />comments you wish to make. <br />All public testimony received by the Planning Commission will also be forwarded to the City Council. As <br />noted above, the City Council will hold a subsequent public hearing following the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation, before any final action is taken on the request. Please note that City Council's <br />decision will not be limited to the materials considered by the Planning Commission; new testimony and <br />evidence will be allowed at the City Council's public hearing. <br />Issues which may provide the basis for an appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals must be <br />raised in writing with sufficient specificity to enable the decision maker (in this case the City Council) to <br />respond to the issues prior to the expiration of the comment period. <br />At the public hearing, testimony will first be accepted from those in support of the request, then from <br />those that are neutral, then from those in opposition. The applicant will also be given an opportunity for <br />final rebuttal. <br />The City of Eugene complies with state and federal laws and regulations relating to discrimination, <br />including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
