<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />Tuesday, May 7, 2019, 5:30 p.m. <br />Sloat Room, Atrium Building <br />99 West 10 th Avenue <br />Eugene, OR 97401 <br />____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />The Eugene Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the above noted time and place to <br />consider the following: <br /> <br />File Name (#): Downtown Riverfront (CA 19-1, RA 19-1, Z 19-5, WG 19-3, ST 19-3 and SDR 19-2) <br /> <br />Request: Approval of a City-initiated package of related land use applications to allow for a <br />mixed-use redevelopment of the Downtown Riverfront with a new park, housing, <br />and commercial uses. The request includes applications for Code Amendments, <br />Refinement Plan Amendments, Zone Changes, Willamette Greenway Permit, <br />Tentative Subdivision and Standards Review approvals. <br /> <br /> <br />Location: South bank of the Willamette River, including land on both sides of the Ferry <br />Street Viaduct, and north of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks (see attached <br />map of subject property). <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Applicable Procedures & Approval Criteria <br /> <br />These related land use applications will be reviewed concurrently, according to a consolidated process <br />that gives interested parties the opportunity to provide testimony related to any part of the requested <br />actions, before both the Planning Commission and City Council, before a final decision is made. <br /> <br />Following this initial public hearing, the Planning Commission will deliberate and make a recommendation <br />to the City Council. The City Council will hold a second public hearing, then deliberate and make the final <br />decision on the requested actions. Separate notice of the City Council public hearing will be provided. <br /> <br />In making a recommendation on the request to City Council, the Planning Commission will address the <br />relevant approval criteria and related standards from the Eugene Code (EC) at EC 9.8065, 9.8424, 9.8470 <br />and 9.4980, 9.8515, 9.8815, and 9.8865. Testimony and evidence submitted should be directed toward <br />the applicable approval criteria from the Eugene Code as listed here, or other criteria in the <br />adopted plans or land use regulations that the person testifying believes to apply to the decision. <br /> <br /> <br />
