The applicant requests an adjustment to EC 9.5500(11)(b)(2) as described above in Part III of <br />this document. Where the central parking drive around Building 2 provides a through-motor <br />vehicle movement enhanced landscape buffers and pedestrian crosswalks will minimize the <br />negative aspects of parking uses. The drives are designed to meet all other requirements of <br />section EC 9.5500(11) and EC9.8030(8)(e). <br /> <br /> <br />The Applicant requests an adjustment to section EC 9.5500(12)(b)1. as described in Part III <br />of the above document where more than 3 consecutive parking courts exist. In accordance <br />with EC 9.8030(8)(f), continuous parking drives are limited to the internal vehicular circulation <br />needed to meet the intent of EC 9.6815 and provide efficient connectivity for emergency <br />service vehicles in readily apparent paths without creating excessive travel lengths; individual <br />parking courts within the project are of sizes and widths that do not exceed those stipulated <br />in EC 9.5500(12)(b) and are punctuated and/or separated by landscape islands to further aid <br />in limiting their apparent sizes; and enhanced landscape buffers and pedestrian crosswalks will <br />42 | Page <br /> <br />LOMBARD APARTMENTS LLC –WRITTEN STATEMENT – REVISED <br />MAY 11, 2018 <br /> <br />
