Attachment C
Attachment B
2552 Nixon St.
Eugene, OR 97403
Dec. 22, 2017
Nick Gioelli
Eugene Planning Division
99 West 10th
Eugene, OR 97401
Re: Capital Drive Development - OPPOSED
Dear Nick Gioelli:
I live in the Capital Drive area and walk along the Ribbon and Ridgeline trail regularly. I
treasure the peaceful rural feeling along the corridor and would be quite dismayed to have
that refuge disrupted. Eugene has been good in providing these much needed quiet park
spaces, so it is beyond me why they would consider allowing such a development. To
build 34 dwellings in that vicinity (such a large number that I can not even fathom) would
have an enormously negative impact. Besides the obvious visual intrusion, there would
be increased noise and traffic. There would also be increased risk of fire and greater
possibility of landslides.
Everyone I encounter is greatly opposed to this development. Please do what you can to
prevent this from happening. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Debbie Krakauer
RECEIVED
DEC 29 2017
City of Eugene
Planning Division
Page 351
