Exception: A different clearance distance will be required if, in the opinion of the Fire <br />Code Official, the provisions, of the installation standard of the sprinkler system or the listing of <br />the device justifies a reduction or increase in the distance necessary for the proper operation of a <br />sprinkler head. <br />34. Section 408.2 of the OFC is amended by adding #17 and #18, to provide: <br />404.2 Where required. An approved fire safety and evacuation plan shall be prepared <br />and maintained for the following occupancies and buildings: <br />17. Any building with an active or passive smoke control system. <br />18. Any occupied structure required to have explosion (deflagration) venting <br />or explosion (deflagration) prevention systems. <br />35. Section 404 of the OFC is amended by addition subsection 404.5, to provide: <br />404.5 Pre-incident planning documents. Unless determined by the Fire Marshal that <br />the plans are not necessary for the Eugene Springfield Fire Department's-pre-incident planning, <br />prior to issuance of an occupancy permit, all occupancies and buildings listed in Section 404.2 of <br />this code must submit to the Eugene Springfield Fire Marshal's Office an electronic file of the <br />constructed building, structure, facility and occupancy (i.e., as-built plans). Failure to submit the <br />as-built plans could result in the Fire Department recommending that the Building Official <br />withhold the final occupancy permit. <br />36. Section 407.5 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />407.5 Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS). Where required by the fire <br />code official, an application for a permit shall include an HMIS, such as SARA (Superfund <br />Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986) Title III, Tier II Report, or other approved <br />statement. The HMIS shall include the following information: <br />1. Product name. <br />2. Component. <br />3. Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) identification number. <br />4. Location where stored or used. <br />5. Container size. <br />6. Hazard classification. <br />7. Amount in storage. <br />8. Amount in use - closed systems. <br />9. Amount in use -open systems. <br />10. NFPA 704 classification <br />37. Section 408.1 of the OFC is amended by adding subsection 408.1.1, to provide: <br />408.1.1 Change of occupant, tenant or use.
