• <br />16. Section 105.7.12 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />105.7.12 Private water mains and hydrant systems. A Fire Code Construction Permit is <br />required for the installation or modification of private water mains and hydrant systems. <br />17. Section 107.1 of the OFC is amended by adding subsection 107.1.1 to the OFC to <br />provide: <br />107.1:1 Access to safeguards. Fire protection and/or notification system <br />equipment shall be accessible, unobstructed 'and visible. <br />18. Section 108.1 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />108.1 Appeal procedures. Any person aggrieved by an action taken pursuant to this <br />code may appeal the action within the time and in the manner provided in section 2.021 of the <br />Eugene Code. <br />19. Section 108.2 and 108.3 of the OFC are deleted. <br />20. Section 109.2 of the OFC is amended by adding subsection 109.2.1 to the OFC, to <br />provide: <br />109.2.1 Responsible person. In addition to, and not in lieu of, the responsibility of the is <br />owner and occupant to correct and abate violations of this code, the responsible person must <br />abate violations of this code. <br />21. Section 109.3 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />109.3 Notice of Violation. When the fire code official finds a building, premises, <br />vehicle, storage facility or outdoor area that is in violation of this code, the first code official is <br />authorized to prepare a written notice of violation describing the conditions deemed unsafe and, <br />when compliance is no immediate, specify a time for reinspection. Orders and notices shall be in <br />accordance with section 2.018 of the Eugene Code, 1971 and administrative rules adopted <br />thereunder. <br />22. Section 109.3.2 of the. OFC is amended to provide: <br />109.3.2 Compliance with orders and notices. Notice of violation issued or served as <br />provided by this code shall be complied with by the owner, operator, occupant, or other <br />responsible person.
