BERG-JOHANSEN Erik
From: Ralph McDonald <ralphm@efn.org>
Sent: Tuesday, January 10, 2017 2:56 PM
To: BERG-JOHANSEN Erik
Cc: Heather Sielicki; vhariton@yahoo.com; Emily Fox; Christine L. Sundt
Subject: Amazon Corners Proposed Developement Comment
Eric Berg-Johanson
Assoc. Planner
Planning Div.
City of Eugene
99 W. 10th Ave
Eugene, OR 97405
Dear Mr. Berg-Johanson:
Please enter my comment herein regarding the proposed "Amazon Corners" housing development proximate to Hilyard
St. in south Eugene.
Many of my neighbors have raised concerns about the traffic impact of this proposal.
As a board member of the Southwest Hills Neighborhood Association of Eugene, I note that the main arterial serving our
neighborhood north-south is Willamette St.
In my experience traffic congestion or street closure on Hilyard has direct effect on Willamette St., and vice-versa.
Please review this development proposal further toward requiring workable streets remedy for any new load of traffic
before granting construction go-ahead.
Best Regards,
Ralph McDonald
Vice-Chair
SHiNA Neighborhood Association
1
