BERG-JOHANSEN Erik
From: Sophie Adams <sophia.adams123@gmail.com>
Sent: Tuesday, January 10, 2017 4:30 PM
To: BERG-JOHANSEN Erik
Subject: Concern about proposed apartments
Hello, my name is Sophie Adams and I have lived on 31st avenue for 15 years. I am concerned about increase traffic on
residential side streets ( R-9.8650, C-1, F-8.1.1-8.1.4, F-9 lack of safe crossing for pedestrians and cyclists ( R-9.8650-C1,
F-9, G-2.), lack of refuges for vehicles entering/ leaving Hillary at 31st avenue ( R-9.8650-C1, F-8, 9, 10.), and the fact that
the study for traffic was not done at the busiest hours (R-9.8650-F4.1.1, 2, 4, 5, 6-F-4.4.9-F-5.1). I would prefer that the
apartments have less units to decrease the amount of traffic in the neighborhood as it is already a pretty busy road (R-
9.8650-A). Although I prefer 3 stories over 5 1 think that 2 is more fitting. All the other apartments in the area are two
stories tall and it would be out of place to have anything over that. A personal concern of mine is the visual appeal of the
new apartments. I'm hoping that they aren't going to look like the new apartment buildings on franklin blvd. and
downtown. Thank you for taking the time to look the neighborhoods concerns.
Sent from my iPhone
