I use
this intersection daily and in my opinion it is already difficult to exit onto Hilyard during peak traffic times. I
am concerned about increased traffic if there is no planned mitigation for a huge increase in cars. Additionally,
me and my children bike often and I hope Alder will not see an increase in car traffic since it is currently an
excellent biking route. I have a hard time understanding how 108 new units plus retail on that corner wouldn't
make that area a traffic nightmare. I hope you are considering ways to avoid these problems, including
reducing the size of the new development. I am not opposed to the idea of high density hosting and new retail
space in my neighborhood, I just want to be sure the increased traffic is properly taken into consideration.
Thanks for your time and consideration,
Jessica Lambright
3540 Onyx Street
