Oregon. To gain an impartial view of the impacts it will have on the area.
Please listen to the neighbors and understand how such a large building will negatively impact their homes and
way of life in their neighborhood.
These developers need to dramatically reconsider the height of the building project and take the neighbors
concerns into consideration. Additionally, the building must have proper sound insulation between the units and
be held to a higher standard and use proper building materials that will be able to withstand the coming
earthquake for the safety of the tenants and the neighboring residents and for a building with height.
There is a need for affordably priced housing units and low income housing, not high end apartments. What is
promised as low income housing now is not likely to stay that way once the building is completed because of
the cost to build them, the developers need to be held to their word. Additionally, I would hope that the
architects of these buildings would put more effort into their overall appearance, because thus far they have
been more ugly than inspired. We don't need more Capstone clones in Eugene.
Please place my letter in the public record.
Danika Esden-Tempski
2909 Charnelton Street
Eugene, Oregon
