The proposed mono-pineantenna is 75 in height and meets the requirements of this code <br />section. <br /> <br />(c) Collocation. New transmission towers shall be designed to <br />accommodate collocation of additional providers: <br />1. New transmission towers of a height of 80 feet or more shall be <br />designed to accommodate collocation of a minimum of 2 additional <br />providers either outright or through future modification to the <br />tower. <br /> <br />The proposed mono-pine antenna is 75 feet in height. This standard does not apply. <br /> <br />2. New transmission towers of a height of at least 60 feet and no more <br />than 80 feet shall be designed to accommodate collocation of a <br />minimum of 1 additional provider either outright or through future <br />modification to the tower. <br /> <br />The mono-pine antenna structure is proposed to be 75 feet in height. As noted in the <br />applicant’s written statement and shown on the site plan elevations, the tower is designed to <br />allow 1 additional provider. However, as discussed above, the City’s third party consultant <br />indicates that no structural analysis was provided as necessary to verify the capability of <br />accommodating additional providers on the proposed facility under this standard. <br />(d) Setback. The following setbacks from adjacent property lines and <br />adjacent streets shall be required unless a variance is granted pursuant <br />to the provisions of subsection (9) of this section: <br />3. If located within an R-1, PL, C-1 and GO zone, the transmission <br />tower shall be set back from the adjacent public streets a minimum <br />number of feet equal to the height of the tower. <br />As shown on theapplicant’s site plans (see Sheet A-1) the tower is located95feet fromWest <br />Amazon Drive to the west; 135feet from Fox Hollow Road to the south; 105 feet from the west <br />property line and 305 feet from the north property line. The proposed location meets the <br />requirements of this standard. <br />(e) Buffering. In all zones, existing vegetation shall be preserved to the <br />maximum extent possible. In the C-4, I-1, I-2 and I-3 zones, no buffering <br />is required beyond that required by this land use code. In all other <br />zones, landscaping shall be placed completely around the transmission <br />tower and ancillary facilities located at ground level except as required <br />to access the facility.
