There are several fairly large pine trees on their property next to the sidewalk right on the coiner of W Amazon
and Foxhollow, and two large ones just as you come in the driveway off Foxhollow, right in the area where the guy
doing the measuring indicated to me they wanted to put the cell tower. I can't imagine a more fitting design than the
one proposed. Would you like me to take pictures & send them to you? I walk my dog there every day.
I'm trying to imagine what kind of noise a cell tower would generate, but I don't know.
Frankly, I'm irritated at all the hand ringing and wild imagining some community members seem to be stirring up. They
probably don't like microwaves, either.
Thanks for being an impartial examiner of all this.
Jane
On Nov 5, 2014, at 3:36 PM, TAYLOR Becky G <Beckv.G.Taylor(ir),ci.euaene.or.us> wrote:
Thanks, Jane. Are you saying that all the pine trees on the property would provide a compatible backdrop for the
tower?
Becky Taylor, Associate Planner
City of Eugene Planning
99 West 10`h Avenue
Eugene, OR 97401
541-682-5437

From: Jane Harrison [mailtoJanesanha(a)mac.com]
Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2014 5:23 PM
To: TAYLOR Becky G
Subject: Re: Proposed Cell Tower @ Crossfire Church
P.S. There are all kinds of pine trees on the property. There are several spindly maples up the street from
the proposed installation. Go look!
Jane
1
