1 <br />DOMINGO Elena M <br />From:River Road - Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan <br /><envisioneugene@cityofeugenepdd.ccsend.com> <br />Sent:Thursday, February 15, 2024 10:05 AM <br />To:DOMINGO Elena M <br />Subject:RRSC Neighborhood Plan Adoption Process Update <br />[EXTERNAL ❚❛❜] <br />February 15, 2024 <br /> <br />River Road-Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan Heading to <br />City Council and Board of Commissioners <br />Click to view this newsletter in your web browser <br /> <br />The River Road-Santa Clara neighborhood planning process has been a collaborative <br />effort among community members, River Road Community Organization (RRCO), Santa <br />Clara Community Organization (SCCO), City of Eugene, Lane County, and other <br />stakeholders throughout both neighborhoods. <br /> <br />After five phases and countless volunteer and staff hours, an adoption package was <br />recommended by the Community Advisory Committee, as well as both Eugene and Lane <br />County Planning Commissions. The adoption package will now be considered by <br />the Eugene City Council and Lane County Board of Commissioners as the final <br />decision-makers. Eugene and Lane County are considering amendments to the <br />Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan (Metro Plan) to adopt the River Road- <br />Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan. Eugene is also considering neighborhood-specific land <br />use code amendments within the River Road and Santa Clara neighborhood boundaries <br />(these changes would only apply to properties within city limits). <br /> <br />Upcoming Work Sessions and Joint Public Hearing <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Eugene City Council has a work session scheduled on Wednesday, February 21 at <br />12:00pm and the Lane County Board of Commissioners has their first reading and work <br /> You don't often get email from envisioneugene@cityofeugenepdd.ccsend.com.
