A
WPlanning
MEMORANDUM
Date: August 4, 2021
To: McKenzie River Motors, Inc. (Applicant)
From: Rodney Bohner, Associate Planner
Subject: Correction to Planning Director Decision for McKenzie River Motors
(SR 21-1 / TIA 21-1 / ARB 21-1)
After issuance of the Planning Director Decision on July 30, 2021, staff were made aware of an
incorrect reference and findings in the decision related to conformance with the Bicycle Parking
Standards beginning at Section 9.6100 of the Eugene Code (EC). The revised findings are
provided below, and replace those findings provided in the July 30, 2021 Planning Director
Decision.
Bicycle Parking Standards
On page 15 of the Planning Director's Decision findings regarding EC 9.6100 incorrectly describe
the proposed short and long-term bicycle parking spaces and reference an incorrect plan sheet.
The second paragraph on page 15 of the decision is to be disregarded. The Director's findings
are herein replaced as follows:
Remaining standards to be addressed include the standards for bicycle parking
beginning at EC 9.6100. The applicant provides square footage calculations for the
proposed buildings as shown on Sheet A1.1, concluding that 11 short-term and 4
long-term spaces are required. The applicant proposes 12 short-term spaces and 4
long-term spaces on their site plans, which meets the required number. Additionally,
the applicant shows appropriate details to ensure compliance with location and
access standards which confirms that bicycle parking standards are met.
The revised findings do not change compliance with bicycle parking standards nor do the
revisions impact the Planning Director's conditional approval.
For Additional Information:
Please contact Rodney Bohner, Assistant Planner, Eugene Planning Division, by phone at (541)
682-5437, or by e-mail, at: rodney.t.bohner@ci.eugene.or.us
City of Eugene • 99 W. 10th Ave. • Eugene, OR 97401 • 541-682-5481 • 541-682-5572 Fax
www.eugene-or.gov/planning
