Project Area Calculations
Dear Nick,
Please accept this letter as supplemental information clarifying the project area and tax lot area
acreage calculations referenced in the North Campus Conditional Use and Willamette
Greenway Permit (CU 18-1 WG 18-2)narrative. The final narrative dated June 22, 2018, pages
6, 7 and Table 6-1 contained notional errors that have since been corrected. These corrections
are as follows:
The AssessorÈs Map reference for tax lot 00300 on pages 6, 7 and Table 6-1 was
inconsistent. This tax lot is associated with AssessorÈs Map 17-03-32-21. Pages 6, 7
and Table 6-1 have been corrected.
The AssessorÈs Map reference for tax lot 05300 on pages 6, 7 and Table 6-1 was
inconsistent. This tax lot is associated with AssessorÈs Map 17-03-32-24. Pages 6, 7
and Table 6-1 have been corrected.
Table 6-1 omitted two tax lots within the project area due to an incorrect base data file.
These tax lots are 17-03-32-24-05400 (7.91 acres) and 17-03-32-24-05500 (2.50 acres).
Theacreage associated with these tax lots was included in the total project area
calculation. The total project area acreage calculation is based on the project area
boundary, which is not affected by the corrections, thus total project area acreage is
unchanged (77.4 acres). The addition of tax lots 05400 and 05500 is simply notional to
the narrative, and not mathematical.
It is also important to note that the project area boundary, which is synonymous with the S-RP
zone boundary, and the parcel file (i.e. tax lot boundaries) are based on original GIS shapefiles
converted to AutoCAD drawing format. The files used for the analysis are not completely
coterminous with each other, resulting in minor discrepancies between the gross acreage
provided by the Lane County Regional Land Information Database (RLID) and the net acreage
calculated using AutoCAD for each tax lot within the project area, as illustrated on Sheet L06
Tax Lots.

In addition, the following tax lots are only partially within the project area, which results in a
discrepancy between the RLID tax lot acreage and the project area tax lot acreage:

Table 6-1. UO North Campus Tax Lots à Expanded provides the RLID tax lot acreage; the
project area tax lot acreage in the Final Narrative dated June 22, 2018; the project area tax lot
acreage in the Revised Narrative dated August 13, 2018; as well as the change in acreage
(delta). As noted previously, the overall project area acreage remains unaffected.
The proposal requests Conditional Use and Willamette Greenway permit approval for
properties owned by the Applicant within the S-RP zone boundary and project area. This
supplemental information is consistent with that request.
