BERG-JOHANSEN Erik
From:
williamRANDALL <bill@arborsouth.com>
Sent:
Monday, April 17, 2017 7:40 AM
To:
BERG-JOHANSEN Erik
Cc:
SOMMERS Lauren A
Subject:
Oakleigh Meadows Co-Housing
Follow Up Flag: Follow up
Flag Status: Flagged
Erik -
On October 5, 2015, the Planning Commission made a final decision on the Oakleigh Meadows Co-Housing
application for a tentative PUD, PDT 13-01. On October 23, 2015, my architectural firm was contacted by
Oakleigh Meadows Co-Housing, LLC, to ask if we would be interested in providing architectural services
related to the development. Prior to October 23, 2015, neither I, nor anyone from my firm had any contact with
anyone from Oakleigh Meadows about doing work on that project.
On November 10, 2015, my architectural firm agreed to work with Oakleigh Meadows Co-Housing,
LLC. During that November 10, 2015, discussion I made it very clear that going forward, I would not be able
to participate in any Planning Commission deliberations or decisions regarding the Oakleigh Meadows Co-
Housing tentative PUD application.
The Planning Commission's decision on the tentative PUD has gone through a series of appeals, so the Planning
Commission has not deliberated or acted on the Oakleigh Meadows applications since October 5,
2015. However, the Planning Commission's decision on the tentative PUD application was recently remanded
to the City and the Planning Commission will be asked to deliberate and make a decision on the application on
remand.
Therefore, pursuant to ORS 244.120, Eugene Code sections 2.333 and 9.7065, and the bylaws of the Eugene
Planning Commission, I am declaring an actual conflict of interest with respect to the Oakleigh Meadows Co-
Housing tentative PUD application, PDT 13-01, and I will not participate in any further discussion or decisions
on this application.
If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call. Thanks.
WIRANDALL
architect/senior principal/csba/leed ap hd+c
p: 541-344-3332
380 Lincoln Street
Eugene, Oregon 97401
please consider the environment before printing this email
