NOTICE OF HEARINGS OFFICIAL DECISION ON REMAND
Laurel Ridge Zone Change (City File Z 15-5)
October 20, 2016
On October 19, 2016, the Eugene Hearings Official approved a zone change from AG Agricultural
with/WR Water Resources Conservation overlay to R-1 Low Density Residential and PRO Parks,
Recreation, and Open Space with /PD Planned Unit Development and /WR Water Resources
Conservation overlays, with the boundary between R-1/PD/WR and POS/PD/WR being the line
depicted on the Laurel Hill Valley Citizens Diagram (also known as LHVC Sheet 9/2/15-04). The
subject property is located at the end of Riverview Street, north of 30th Avenue, west of Moon
Mountain and is identified as Tax Lots 701 and 703 of Assessor's Map 18-03-10-00.
A copy of the application, decision, all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the
applicant and applicable criteria are available for review at the Planning Division and may be
obtained at a reasonable cost. This notice, the Hearings Official's decision, application materials,
and general information about the land use application process and criteria may be accessed by
visiting http://www.eugene-or.gov/3208/Land-Use-Application-Information
Unless appealed pursuant to Eugene Code Sections 9.7650 through 9.7685, this Hearings Official
decision will be effective when the appeal period has expired. In this case, any appeal must be
received by 5 p.m. on November 1, 2016. Appeal procedures, forms, and fee information are
available at the City's Planning Division or on our web site. The Eugene Planning Commission
will consider any appeals of this land use application.
