1:.., 11 1 'inning Commission <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />Tuesday, July 14, 2015, 6:00 p.m. <br />Harris Hall, Lane County Public Service Building <br />125 East 8th Avenue <br />Eugene, OR 97401 <br />The Eugene Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the above noted time and place to <br />consider the following: <br />File Name(#): Rest Haven Memorial Park (MA 15-1 and Z 15-1) <br />Request: Metro Plan Amendment to change the land use designation from Parks and Open <br />Space to Low Density Residential for the approximately 79 acre property; and <br />Zone Change from PL Public Land to R-1 Low Density Residential for the northern <br />approximately 28 acres in cemetery use (resulting in the entire property being <br />designated Low Density Residential and zoned R-1 Low Density Residential). <br />Location: 3900 Willamette Street, Rest Haven Memorial Park <br />Property Owner: Charles Wiper, Rest Haven Memorial Assoc. <br />Representative: Carol Schirmer, Schirmer Satre Group <br />Applicable Criteria: <br />In making a recommendation on this request to City Council, the Planning Commission will address the <br />relevant approval criteria from the Eugene Code (EC) at EC 93735 and 9.8865. The request will be also <br />heard by the City Council in a separate public hearing, following action (a recommendation) by the <br />Planning Commission. Testimony and evidence of those testifying should be directed toward the <br />applicable criteria of the Eugene Code as listed above, or other criteria in the plans or land use <br />regulations that the person testifying believes to apply to the decision. <br />How to Submit Testimony: <br />1. Submit a written statement after July 6, 2015 but before the public hearing closes. The Planning <br />Commission will have less of an opportunity to read the written material prior to taking action on the <br />request and forwarding their recommendation to the City Council. <br />
