Hi Steve,
I’m sorry I am just now replying to this email. I’ve been transparent with AT&T during this whole process as well and have no
concerns with submitting the email below in the record. Thank you for checking.
Jaime

Jamie, thanks for the email yesterday. Long night at the hearing, but I wanted to let you know that the record was left open
(which means new testimony can still be submitted). We’re considering submitting your email below, especially given that it
doesn’t match what AT&T was saying last night. Any concerns with that? Steve

Hello Nick and Steve,
I just got off the phone with Ken Lyons from AT&T regarding the Crossfire site. He won’t be at the hearing this evening but he is
trying to get some information together for it. Mostly we went over the following:
4 different site acquisition people involved- perhaps there was a disconnect during transition
he wanted to clarify that there might be an opportunity to co-locate on a utility pole (both at Fox Hollow & Dillard and
then on distribution poles on E. Amazon)
went over EWEB’s standard
asked if EWEB had approved any cell antennas over the last few years since they started work at this site
there was reference to the fact that the site had started prior to EWEB creating a standard AND the City of
o
Eugene’s Telecommunication Facilities in the Right-of-Way Policy Guidelines
asked if it was EWEB or the City of Eugene that was potentially holding up antennas from moving forward
Just so you know, the last bullet was a red flag for me. My response was that EWEB has had several initial site reviews over the
last 2 years wherein the last correspondence on those sites were after you’ve gone through the initial review/approval with the
City your next steps with EWEB would be to submit an application. EWEB has received no applications. I also let Ken know that
more recently EWEB had received site requests that ended up being suspended indefinitely per AT&T. He acknowledged that
happened due to AT&T purchasing another company.
I really just want to be transparent with you, especially during this sensitive time. Please let me know how the meeting goes
tonight. Thanks!
