Project Description <br />The proposed project is located at the Crossfire Church (formerly "Calvary Chapel") of <br />Eugene at the corner of Fox Hollow Road and West Amazon Drive. The area is zoned <br />Low Density Residential (R1). The proposed structure is a 75-foot tall monopine, with <br />high quality bark and branches, which is a "stealth" cell tower, designed to look like the <br />pine trees native to the region, to minimize visual impacts. AT&T has worked extensively <br />with staff to revise and improve the design of this facility to address the community's <br />concerns. The drawings of the proposed facility have changed over several iterations to <br />reflect a slimmed profile, fewer antennas, additional landscaping, and stormwater <br />mitigation. <br />The 70-foot height of the antennas is the minimum height necessary to fill the targeted <br />high band 4G LTE coverage gap and to allow space to add a natural looking tree top to <br />the monopine. The proposed ancillary equipment structure also uses stealth design-it <br />is designed to be a stick built extension of the existing church building, which will match <br />the church's existing architectural style. Additional baffling and sound mitigation was <br />added to the design to bring the noise levels of the ancillary equipment to reduce the <br />noise levels at the adjacent property lines to 35 dBA, well below the city's noise limit of <br />45 dBA. Even though exempted from the city's noise standards, the sounds from the <br />enclosed generator, which cannot be placed underground for safety reasons, has also <br />been mitigated so the sound emission will not exceed 45 dBA at the adjacent property <br />lines during the brief (10 minute) monthly testing periods. <br />SEATTLE Lo"', ANGELES DENVER PORTLAND B r N P <br />93 S.
