Geotechnical Soil Infiltration Investigation
2610 Cal Young Road, Eugene, Oregon

6 | P a g e CORE GeoEngineering, Inc. Project No. 25-1127
Version 1.0, January 23, 2026

Designers should apply an appropriate conservative approach in selecting design infiltration rates and
sizing infiltration facilities. During construction, as-built infiltration verification testing should be
performed to confirm actual field infiltration rates and to ensure that infiltration systems perform as
intended under site-specific conditions. Infiltration test methods and procedures attempt to simulate the
as-built conditions of the planned disposal systems. However, due to natural variations in soil properties,
actual infiltration rates may vary from the measured and/or recommended design rates. Infiltration rates
presented in this report should not be applied to inappropriate or complex hydrological models without
extensive further studies. Evaluating environmental implications of stormwater disposal at this site is
beyond the scope of this study.
