In lieu of access connection standards in EC 7.410, triplexes and fourplexes shall <br />comply with subparagraphs 2 – 5 of this subsection. Triplexes and fourplexes <br />shall comply with the access connection standards in EC 7.420 through 7.445. <br /> <br />2. The total width of all driveway approaches must not exceed 32 feet per frontage, <br />as measured at the property line (see Figure 9.5550(4)(b)2-3. Triplex/Fourplex <br />Driveway Approach Width and Separation on Local Street). For lots or parcels <br />with more than one frontage, see subsection 5. <br />The lot has frontage on only one street. Proposed driveways will be evaluated at <br />time for building permit for compliance with this criterion. <br /> <br />3. Driveway approaches may be separated when located on a local street if they <br />comply with the access connection spacing standards in EC 7.420 (see Figure <br />9.5550(4)(b)2-3. Triplex/Fourplex Driveway Approach Width and Separation on <br />Local Street). <br />Proposed driveways will be evaluated at time of building permit for compliance <br />with this criterion. <br /> <br />4. For lots or parcels abutting an alley that meets the paving width standards of <br />EC 9.6870, access must be taken from the alley. <br />Not applicable. No existing alleys. <br /> <br />EC 7.420 Access Connections – Location. <br />(1) Access Connections to all Street Classifications. Access connections to all <br />street classifications shall be located in accordance with the following <br />standards: <br />(a) No access connection shall be located to encompass a municipal utility. <br />The access connection, when proposed during building permit, will not <br />encompass a municipal utility. <br /> <br />(b) Except when an existing lot or parcel frontage is located entirely within <br />an area where the adjacent street grade is over fifteen percent (15%), no <br />access connection shall be located in areas where the street grade is <br />over fifteen percent (15%). <br />Not applicable. Existing street grade is not over 15%. <br /> <br />(c) If a parcel has frontage on two or more streets of different street <br />classifications, the access connection shall access the street with the <br />lowest classification. The access connection can access the street with <br />the higher classification if the applicant can demonstrate (1), (2) or (3): <br />The parcel has street frontage on only one street. <br /> <br />(d) Access connections located within five feet of an existing alley <br />connection may be merged with the alley pavement. <br />Not applicable. No existing or proposed alleys. <br /> <br />(3) Access Connections to Local and Neighborhood Collector Streets. In addition <br />to the location standards set forth in EC 7.420(1), access connections to <br />local and neighborhood collector streets shall be located in accordance with <br />the following standards:
