From:colt conrad
To:GIOELLO Nick R
Subject:PDT 24-1 ST 24-3
Date:Wednesday, July 31, 2024 10:56:55 AM
You don't often get email from kdating7@gmail.com. Learn why this is important
[EXTERNAL ]
Hello Nick,
I understand Eugene's motivation to cram more inappropriate houses in a far from ideal area to
generate tax revenue. ---Each residence that is squeezed in generates 10-15k annually for the
city, how lucrative.
Well, that myopic view is flawed. The people that are already here and paying copious taxes
will be driven out as it becomes apparent that the value and quality of life are gone. The south
hills are beautiful and ramrodding density will lead to a longer term reduction in all fauna and
flora here, spare consumptive humans.
Proximal Example: PUD4 and PUD5 have destroyed southview drive. The blackberries, owls,
hawks, and woodpeckers have been replaced with asphalt, mud, and homeless. That fiasco
has been ongoing for YEARS and there is still not one single home built, but the mess has
really been there...
How can big $ and developers always win when it is the citizens that actually vote and end up
footing the bill? Who is bending all the data and variables to magically get this through code
compliance?
Intriguing,
Resident
southview dr
