Attachment C <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE EUGENE -SPRINGFIELD <br />METROPOLITAN AREA GENERAL PLAN; ADOPTING THE RIVER <br />ROAD -SANTA CLARA NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. The River Road and Santa Clara neighborhoods are comprised of a <br />patchwork of properties some of which are located in the City of Eugene and some of <br />which are located in Lane County. <br />B. The River Road -Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan was developed with <br />substantial community input utilizing a collaborative process incorporating the River <br />Road Community Organization, the Santa Clara Community Organization, the City of <br />Eugene, Lane County and other stakeholders throughout both neighborhoods. <br />C. The River Road and Santa Clara communities, the City of Eugene and Lane <br />County all agree that a neighborhood plan with a forward-looking vision is an important <br />asset for the River Road and Santa Clara communities. <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Eugene -Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan ("Metro <br />Plan") is amended as follows: <br />(a) The page reference to "River Road and Santa Clara Goals, Findings, <br />and Policies" are deleted from the Table of Contents. <br />(b) The phrase "River Road and Santa Clara Goals, Findings and Policies:" <br />is deleted from the first paragraph of Chapter II: Fundamental Principles and <br />Growth Management Policy Framework. <br />(c) Chapter II, Section F: River Road and Santa Clara Goals, Findings, <br />Objectives, and Policies, is deleted in its entirety. <br />Ordinance - Page 1 of 3 <br />CC Agenda Page 77 March 12, 2024 JEO Public Hearing - Item 1 <br />
