The proposal includes dedication of a new <br />7 foot wide portion of PUE which, in combination with the 7 foot wide portion of the existing <br />easement that is proposed to remain, will create a contiguous 7 foot PUE over the north 7 feet <br />of the subject properties. <br /> <br />Location: The subject easement is located within the northerly portions of Tax Lots 802 & <br />803 of Assessor’s Map 17-04-17-34, which are located on the south side of Burnett Avenue <br />between Ohio Street and Wisconsin Street in Eugene. <br /> <br />Purpose: The purpose of the request is to create additional buildable area for the future <br />development of the subject parcels. <br /> <br />Background: The subject PUE was dedicated as part of Land Partition Plat No. 2022-P3062 (a <br />reduced size copy of which is attached hereto) for purposes of containing existing underground <br />CenturyLink communications and NW Natural gas service lines extending to adjacent Tax Lot <br />801 located at 2095 Ohio Street (Parcel 1 of the above-referenced land partition). The natural <br />gas service line was determined to be inactive and has since been disconnected at the main <br />and abandoned in place by NW Natural. Per NW Natural, any future gas service line to 2095 <br />Ohio Street will be constructed by NW Natural in a different location, extending directly from <br />within the Burnett Avenue public right-of-way to the 2095 Ohio Street property without the need <br />for any easements.
