Learn why this is important <br />[EXTERNAL <br />I am Gary Wildish, a resident of the Santa Clara Community. I have been involved in the SCCO (Santa <br />Clara Community Organization) for more than twenty years. I have been involved with the <br />neighborhood plan from the start. We met with Jon Ruiz and Mayor Piercy were they suggested that <br />the Community take the lead and we did. At that point the RR &SCCO neighbors went to work. What <br />is before you is the results of many meetings and input from many interested and concerned <br />citizens. It is hard to say how many folks were involved (hundreds if not a few thousand folks and <br />many thousands of hours) but staff has a good idea of the effort put forth. City Staff were of great <br />assistance in the development of this plan. I hope all of you can support the RR/SCCO Neighborhood <br />Plan we have presented.
