The combined connection width shall not exceed 35 feet. A public access easement shall be recorded and <br />submitted to the city upon issuance of a permit to construct the access connection. <br /> (2)Access Connections to Arterial and Major Collector Streets. In addition to the standards set forth in this <br />EC 7.420(1), access connections to arterial and major collector streets shall be located in accordance with the <br />following standards. <br />RESPONSE: This Section does not apply since we are not connecting to an Arterial or Major Collector. <br />EC 7.420(3) Access Connections to Local and Neighborhood Collector Streets. In addition to the location standards <br />set forth in EC 7.420(1), access connections to local and neighborhood collector streets shall be located in <br />accordance with the following standards: <br />(a) Lots and parcels at intersections shall have the access connection begin no less than 20 feet from the end of the <br />radius of the curb, or 20 feet from the property corner if there is no curb. <br />(b) A safety island of not less than 22 feet of full height curb shall in all cases be provided between access <br />connections under one ownership. <br />RESPONSE:(a) All corner lots can take access along either adjoining street which can meet the required 20 foot <br />distance from the end of the curb return. (b)Ultimately all the proposed lots will be under separate ownership making <br />this code section not applicable. <br />
